Northumberland Safe Parenting Handbook - advice for parents of babies, children and young people from Northumberland Children's Fund, Sure Start Programmes and Child Protection Committee. Parentline Plus is a UK national charity, their website has a comprehensive A-Z guide to parenting topics. The National Family and Parenting Institute website has a section for parents with advice, factsheets and useful links to many other websites for parents. If you are looking after your grandchildren the Family Rights Group has information for grandparents.

TheSite.org is an online 'information toolkit' for young people. Whatevr* is the website for young people in Northumberland. The Community Legal Service is for all legal enquiries. Contact a Family is the national website for families with disabled children. IN-PACT is the Northumberland information service for parents of a disabled child. Northumberland Parent Partnership publishes a directory of services for parents of a disabled child. Young carers.net is for young carers.
